Why wouldn’t we just use Turtl / Foleon / Ceros?
Because DigiDox works with the PDF you already have. Those platforms require you to rebuild everything inside their system. This is great if you want to rethink content, learn a new tool, and commit to a platform. DigiDox is different. It takes an already approved PDF and makes it work on mobile without changing the desktop design or workflow. It’s faster, simpler, and easier to approve.
Why not just redesign it properly?
Sometimes a redesign is the right choice, but it’s not always practical. Redesigns take time, budget, and internal approvals. DigiDox is for when the content already exists and just needs to be readable on mobile. It avoids reopening design decisions while still improving the user experience.
Isn’t this just a flipbook?
No. Flipbooks keep desktop layouts and rely on zoom. DigiDox rebuilds the layout for mobile. Flipbooks try to force a desktop PDF to behave on mobile. DigiDox accepts that this doesn’t work and instead creates a separate mobile layout designed for reading on phones. The result is a much better experience.
Can users zoom or pinch on mobile?
They don’t need to as the layout is rebuilt for mobile readability. Zooming is usually required because content hasn’t been adapted. DigiDox removes the need for zoom by redesigning the layout specifically for mobile. This keeps the experience simple and intentional.
What about accessibility?
DigiDox is a visual document experience rather than a fully accessible website. Text is exported as SVG/PNG to preserve design integrity, which means DigiDox is not WCAG-compliant in the same way a website would be. For clients requiring full accessibility, a different approach may be more appropriate. DigiDox is designed for B2B marketing documents where design fidelity is the priority.
What about analytics and tracking?
Tracking is supported where required. Client-supplied tracking code (such as Google Analytics) can be included, or agencies can add their own tracking after delivery. Analytics and setup and reporting are not included by default.
Is the content live HTML text?
No. Text is exported as SVG/PNG to preserve layout and typography. This ensures the desktop and mobile version looks exactly as designed, avoids reflow issues, and matches approved artwork. DigiDox is a document, not a webpage.
Is DigiDox responsive?
No. It’s adaptive. Desktop and mobile layouts are created separately so each experience is intentional. Responsive behaviour would compromise layout control, which isn’t suitable for designed documents.
What do you need from us?
Typical projects take 5–10 working days, depending on length and complexity.
How is it delivered?
As a hostable HTML package that can be deployed on your own server or hosting environment.
Can we update it later?
Yes, of course. Updates can be quoted as follow-on work.
Is DigiDox a subscription?
No. DigiDox is a project-based service.
Is DigiDox suitable for every document?
No. It’s best suited to B2B marketing, sales, and informational documents where design fidelity matters.
How are DigiDox different from a website or CRM?
DigiDox are digital documents, not websites or CRMs. They’re designed for distributing finished PDFs in a mobile-friendly format, not for managing content or users.
Are DigiDox SEO-friendly and indexible?
Due to the way we export and create a DigiDox, the content is not fully searchable or SEO-friendly. You can provide a single metadata description and keywords (up to 155 characters) to assist with visibility, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Can I host a DigiDox on my own URL?
Yes. DigiDox is supplied as a hostable HTML package and can be published on your own URL.
Embedding DigiDox on Your Website
DigiDox must be hosted on your server and embedded via a responsive iframe. This keeps it separate from your site’s CSS, scales correctly on desktop, and adjusts height automatically on mobile. Do not copy the code directly into your page.
